Despite feeling like Summer has only just finished, we're already looking ahead to Spring Summer 2015 thanks to New York fashion week.
All across the city monochrome was an ever present colour palette. For Spring Summer we were surprised to see the prominence of black on the catwalks, but it is a colour which lends itself well to mesh and sheet materials which are going to be in abundance for SS15. NYFW saw these textures mixed with leather, fringing and contrast collars aplenty.
If we learn only one thing from NYFW it is to keep those midriffs out girls - crop tops are going no where. Often worn under oversized sheer tops and bomber jackets, crop tops show that the 90s is still a fountain of inspiration for designers at the moment. Whilst in the footwear department, trainers and platform sandals were everywhere. Perfect for adding that 90s twist to any outfit.

Now, the fashion industry is quickly shifting its gaze from New York to London which we have no doubt is going to be as awesome and revolutionary as ever. We wouldn't expect anything less from LFW.
